at pre-teen, what defensive things she could do. but that's another topic for another thread.She asked me the other day why I always stand at the back of the truck while she and her mother get in. I responded to the effect of "just keepin' an eye out," but I think this article is a perfect example of said things of which to keep an eye out for.
Perhaps a stop at McDonald's on the way out of the store to perhaps wait out the would have been a good tactic.
