My only question is this.
"Is it not already against the law to commit murder?"
If it is still against the law, what makes these people think that another law will prevent these people from breaking the law?
An armed society is a polite society!
Gun free zones = Victom rich enviroment!

Re: Ex-VT student fights to keep TX campuses gun-free
"Opponents say that if guns are allowed on campus, students and faculty will live in fear of classmates and colleagues, not knowing who might pull a gun over a drunken dorm argument or a poor grade." Gun Free Zone is not going to prevent a person who is set to use a gun to commite a crime ...

Re: Anyone ever made an unplanned hospital trip w/ CHL?
Anyone heard of a Peace officer failing to document and put into storage a fire arm? Reason I ask is that I had a guy I know who had a fire arm in his vehicle, non CHL holder was changing a tire on a vehicle on the shoulder of the road. He was approached by a Police Officer and during the interview ...

Re: Kimber?
I've got a full size Kimber Custom II that I love. It's my wife's favorite gun that we own, too. It is accurate, absorbs the recoil, and has never malfunctioned. The trigger is smooth and I love those .45 caliber holes. I'd like to get some night sites for it. Even the full length barrels are slim ...

Re: Armed robbery of 40-50 people
It's running time. most restaurant has more than 1 exit. at least one front and one in the back. Only time i'd put up a fight is if i were cornered and no where to go. Your with your wife and children. Simply moving towards the door as a group puts all at risk and improves their chance of hitting w...

Registerd Guns
Yesterday on the radio I heard a radio guy on a show called Gun Talk.
He stated that there is no law that guns be registered, Can someone elaborate on this. I thought that is what they were doing at the same time as the BG check?

Re: Strange traffic stop
Reminds me of a traffic stop many years ago long before CHL was even an option. Pulled over by HPD. Officer approached the car. Hands on the wheel, light on, the whole drivers education deal working. I asked if I could turn my car off. His reply, I will never forget, "Will it start?" I sti...

School Campus
I beleive Texas law is written to allow for the possession of a firearm by a CHL holder on a school campus as long as the weapon is safely stored in the parking lot of said campus upon exit of the vehicle. I have however been told differently, unofficially by a friend who is in LEO. I see the gun bu...
