Re: Situation: 2am "visitor"

I appreciate the replies. I'll look into that camera. Can't wait to live in my house again. Apartment office was closed for MLK day yesterday, so going by to talk to them and give them the letter today.

That is an excellent idea. I didn't even think of that.

EDIT: Letter written. Will drop it off at the office after work.

Re: Situation: 2am "visitor"

Put a camera outside that door. Do you know if that visitor tried any other apartments? I don't currently have one I could do that with. Planning to get a Ring doorbell or something similar on the house when we move back in. Should be in a few weeks. It looked like he just took off. I didn't hear a...

Situation: 2am "visitor"

Had a situation last night. Just want some input on whether I should have done anything differently. At 2 am my wife woke me up saying she thought someone was knocking on our door. We're in an apartment while our house is being repaired because of the house fire we had. I woke up, and whoever it was...

Re: So I walkd into Harbor Freight today...

People and situations like that are part of why I open carry most of the time. Sure, a large part of it is being able to carry a larger gun more comfortably. Still, an important part of the decision comes down to affecting the views of people like that cashier. Odds are he's not super anti-gun. He's...

Re: 06 / 07 on same sign?

As the wording requirements are extremely specific, changing the wording by combining the two signs would make the sign non-compliant. That said, IANAL, and a case like this has not gone to court to my knowledge. If possible, I would take my business elsewhere when faced with a sign like you describ...

Re: LTC Not Accepted at Polling Location

It is pure fantasy to think showing a LTC somehow helps any cause. People are simply not thinking that hard about the issue. Considering how many times doing so has lead to positive conversations with people that were thinking of getting a gun for protection or applying for their LTC, I disagree. I...

Re: LTC Not Accepted at Polling Location

I use my LTC as ID pretty much any time I can. It's good to let people know that the friendly, polite, normal person they are talking to is a progun person. The only way we can make good impressions for the progun community and try to challenge the narrative being pushed by the leftists is if peopl...

Re: 3 D Printed guns in the news

Here's a pretty good recording of the Defense Distributed press conference held this morning. https://youtu.be/LILmEe1eYuo The main person talking is Paloma Heindorff, Director of Defense Distributed. Just going from this press conference, I like her. I think she would be an excellent face for this ...

Re: 3 D Printed guns in the news

Defense Distributed held a press conference this morning. Wilson has left the organization and they will continue without him. Their mission and focus has not changed, and it sounds like the woman who was his right hand in the organization will be heading it up now. They wouldn't comment on Wilson's...

Re: 3 D Printed guns in the news

I've been following the story pretty closely, and so far the official narrative is really hard to swallow. I'm not at all saying that it didn't happen. It may have. Plenty of smart people have done really dumb things. However, the timing of it is extremely suspect, and the whole thing could have bee...

Re: Ruger PC Carbine or 9mm Upper

Not to give you even more options to choose from, but High Tower Armory also makes a bullpup conversion for your Hi-point. I know they aren't everybody's cup of tea, but I think they look pretty cool. They do cost about as much as the gun cost in the first place, though. https://www.hightowerarmory....
