Finally! Did you have a Utah backup? Or were you unarmed all of this time?

If there is any good news, our current CH licenses don't expire until February, 2013.
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your renewals. I remember Mrs. Oldgringo had issues with her initial license. If I were paranoid, I would think that your are on their list. :headscratch
The thought has crossed my mind. Surely there has been some personnel turnover in the past five years down in the bowels of the DPS building where CHL licenses are processed ?
On the CH licensing page, you are asked to contact Customer Service  if you have any questions. Well, on their form :rules: there is a *required* space for your telephone number. Since contacting Customer Service with their e-form, I've been getting about a half dozen robocalls per day and night. Do you reckon.... :confused5
Me not know.

This is a very good model for how NOT to proceed with a CHL renewal. I offer it up for all y'alls instruction and edification.
I always thought the CHL-100 was a stupid form!

I also took my renewal from Charles. I wanted to get my money's worth so I attended the full day of instruction. ;-)

WildBill wrote:Took renewal class Feb 3rd.
Mailed CHL-100 to DPS by certified mail Feb 11th.
DPS received it Feb 13th.
DPS website status Feb 26th - Application Received.
DPS website status March 02 - License Mailed!
CHL actually mailed March 05 per postmark on envelope
Received in my mail box March 07th
24 days door-to-door :anamatedbanana

Much better than the 60+ days for my initial CHL.

It wasn't the same thrill as receiving my first CHL, but it was a
good feeling to get it.

BTW they used my old CHL photo, not the one from my Texas DL.

Do I need a renewal WallyWalk?
