I was referring the crimes for which he was actually convicted - disregarding a peace officer and misdemeanor drug possession.

Of course, if he were convicted he still could be on the streets. This is still one of my pet peeves when people want to give leniency to criminals with a long history of crime, just because they commit "non-violent" crimes.
