What are you using for your ankle rig and what model Kahr?

Galco Ankle Glove and a Kahr P380. LOVE this setup. The neoprene/velco fits snug, but not too tight. I can wear it on my duty boots, just socks, bare skin, ropers....whatever...will not shift, even at a sprint or banging it getting in and out of the patrol car.

There are other places I can carry too when I'm on duty but I won't get into those kinds of tactics on a public forum :) We can all grab a beverage and discuss it sometime.

Re: Metal Detectors at HSLR?

I did the same. Kept my kahr on my ankle. But back in my car now and have my .45 back on. It was a good time.

not for me :)
A nice perk of the job. I'd love go that route but the massive pay cut is hard to justify. :grumble
I'd go bonkers if I had to write code all day. Did it at a&m part time. I paid my IT dues. It's a comfortable living but it won't make us millionaires. I've got other plans for THAT. ;)

Re: Metal Detectors at HSLR?

We're in line now so I will report back.

As far as badging my way in, the can be a hassle depending on the knowledge of the person with a wand. Plus less attention the better.

Metal Detectors at HSLR?

Are there metal detectors or people wanding at the entrances? Curious if I need to find a super secret squirrel LEO entrance. I'll be there tonight with the lady and the kiddo if anyone else is going.
