I use the 17grs 2400 with the MP Molds copy of the RCBS 270gr solid or hpt. # 2 alloy with the solid and 2.5% antimony, 2.5 % tin and 95 % lead with the hpt.Houston1944 wrote:Ruger only load - 17.0 of 2400 with Penn 270 Gr Thunderhead ( a flatnose lead bullet). This bullet is very accurate but is a handful when you stuff a bunch of 2400 uner it, I load mine for a Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8 bbl
