Re: One song that "speaks" to you
You know (and I'm assuming here) that we are predominately conservative here and those opposite of us try to paint us as heartless so they can gain power. The fact is the we want to see the good people of this world left alone from the bullies so they can flourish. We have a sheep dog mentality and ...

Re: my mother-in-law
I said goodbye to a part of my dad every day with this awful disease. He passed in 2010 and I'm still coming to grips with it. As time passes though, I remember who he really was, a great man. My Avatar is him helping me hold a Ruger Single Six and teaching me how to aim. Remember her as the person ...

I just joined and will drop some money on em from time to time. Oh and I bought a scary looking black rifle. It's a win for the NRA and Smith and Wesson.

Re: KS:Witchta man dies after fake "Swatting" call
One thing for sure: you can count on the press for tweaking the story to make it as juicy as possible and to make the cop look like a homicidal lunatic. Beyond all the points that have been made so far, I'm a little concerned about the incident itself going ultra-viral and generating copycats, a wh...

Re: KS:Witchta man dies after fake "Swatting" call
Which brings me to point two. I don't see an officer to the right of the victim. I do see a patrol car parked there. What makes no sense to me is why they would park a car there and then have the officer back away to across the street. Tactics would have said to not park that close to begin with, a...

Re: KS:Witchta man dies after fake "Swatting" call
Did you noticed how far away the cops were from this guy? IMO, they were never under any significant threat no matter what his hands were doing or what he might have had in them. If they were in the yard close to him, I can see giving more leeway, but they were pretty far back. That is too trigger ...

Re: KS:Witchta man dies after fake "Swatting" call
I watched the body cam video last night that was shown in real time and then it was slowed down. The guy had his hands up and then put them down by his waist and raised them rapidly and it appears he has something in them. It took me a few times watching it to get that though. The LEO didn't have a ...

I guess my reply has kind of been covered. That's what happens when you have one too many mixed drinks, start a reply and then discover it later realizing you haven't hit 'Submit'. Yes I realize it's 10:33 in the morning. I work nights.

Re: Nerdy 14 year old brings homemade clock to school and is arrested
Have you seen the whole 'device'? Up until today, all I have seen is the circuit board with transistors and some wires leading from it. Most people would know that it's not a bomb. These new pictures are of the circuit board and a large LCD display mounted in what looks like a small briefcase. I see...
