Thanks for the clarification. I recall here while back a business that manufactured lowers was not keeping proper sales records and paperwork. All that was true before this recent court ruling. The ruling concerned itself with the plans by DD, which were recognized as protected speech.

Lots of folks will get confused and believe it is now okay to manufacture one of these guns which to my understanding would be illegal unless you go through proper federal paperwork channels and include a serial number on the newly manufactured gun. Would there also be a difference between the mere manufacture and possession of such a gun vs. manufacture of the gun for sale?
