Those do look like something I'd want to look into if I ever get a dedicated competition gun for IDPA. I have TruGlo TFO's (Tritium fiberoptics) on my Glock 19. They are great, the sights look the same no matter what the light, since the fiberoptics catch any available light and the tritium glows in the dark. The only downside is cost.
My Glock 30 came with Trijicon night sights, and they are fine. They glow nicely in the dark, and look like plain three dot sights otherwise. Not as nice as the TFO's, but still good.
