The governor is expected to sign this bill I understand. If that happens you simply can not carry a "location restricted" knife in certain locations. Location restricted knives will be what is currently an illegal knife
(6) "Location-restricted [Illegal] knife" means a[:
[(A)] knife with a blade over five and one-half
inches[;
[(B) hand instrument designed to cut or stab
another by being thrown;
[(C) dagger, including but not limited to a dirk,
stiletto, and poniard;
[(D) bowie knife;
[(E) sword; or
[(F) spear].


Everything highlighted in red will no longer apply after September 1st. So over 5.5 inches is illegal in some places, but all other knives otherwise under 5.5 are legal to carry even in a 51% location. :woohoo .
