Re: Conceal Carry at Collge graduation ceremony?
I plan on attend a Summer graduation ceremony tomorrow at a TTU. The event will be held at the Arena here on campus, from all the laws I have read, I am legally allowed to conceal carry b/c there is no sporting event going on at that time, just a graduation ceremony. As long as they didn't post it ...

Re: Mass Shooting at Orlando Nightclub
TV news is saying he had a special gun license. He was a licensed security guard, which apparently let him skip background checks. Dunno if/how that ties in with him having a CHL. Dave2: See my post, From what I am reading, he did not have an Florida CCW. And the licenses he did have, would not hav...

Re: Mass Shooting at Orlando Nightclub
So this terrorist had a class D (unarmed) and class G (armed) license due to him being a security guard. G Class Licenses are not like Florida CCW Permits. They do not allow license holders to carry arms in the same way a CCW does. It only covers a license holder while they're on duty and working a ...

IMHO, following someone to their car is not only escalating the situation, it is an excellent way to get killed.

Re: CHL Instructor Shoots Aggressor at Gas Station
IMO it's a tragic situation on both ends, but here is what I would have done. I would have just paid for my purchase and left the store and went directly to my vehicle and locked the doors. After that I would have used my phone zoom in and take a picture of the aggressor's license plate and vehicle...

Parking lot of a government building?
I will try and make this question short and to the point. I will be going to a graduation at Lackland AFB, TX and I will be staying at an off base Air Force/DoD run hotel (The Kelly Inn). Now it still falls under the Air Force Lodging/DoD, but it’s not physically located on the Air Force base. Now I...

Re: Texans Respond to License to Carry
Texas Tech here in Lubbock is supposed to have their guidelines for campus carry posted by Oct 1. I'll look for them then and post a link. bigity, I am actually part of the faculty here at Texas Tech and I have emailed numerous members of the board asking them if there was any open spots for me to ...
