I didn't carry with one in the chamber for the first few weeks, mainly so I could get used to the idea of carrying a weapon on me at all times (when not prohibited by law... ahem) Now, when I carry, one is in the chamber. I'm one of the guys that still leaves the safety on though, that might wear off after some more time though...
