Hoping your LTC class didn't give you any bad advice is not an attack.TexanVeteran wrote: ↑Wed Nov 21, 2018 1:31 pm Maybe you should read my latest reply before attacking me.
Neither is providing an actual link to the relevant law, and a quote to help provide specifics to others that might not be familiar with the issue.

Re: Experience dealing with LEOs during events etc?
Why would you voluntarily show your CCW / LTC to a volunteer gate security person when it is not required to do so. Might as well open carry at that point. You are not required to disclose unless at a traffic stop with at Texas peace officer or upon direct request by a Texas peace officer. Otherwis...

Re: Front Sight Focus---Or Not...
I am an advocate of a "hard focus on the front sight". Its the way I was trained, and it really works for me. What ever you determine is your preferred method, stick with ONE and train with it. Don't try to do all three. It sounds like you might be relying on YouTube for your training. I h...

Re: Tap, Rack, Bang or Drop, Replace, Rack, Bang?
In instructor led practice, the instructor will call out 'threat' or not. Good teaching moment when somebody goes to bang out of habit. Practicing on your own, you make the call. Absolutely. I find "tap, rack, point in" a much more prudent response. Having "tab, rack, bang" dril...

Re: Texas poised to pass 'Sanctuary City' ban with jail penalty
Be careful what you wish for. It wasn't very long ago that I was VERY happy to see sheriffs standing up to the feds and saying "I will NOT enforce any federal law which violates my constituent's 2nd amendment rights, and will defend their right to keep and bear arms". I don't think you can...

House Bill 2918
I'm a long time lurker, and have learned a lot from this message board. I am usually content to just sit back, watch, and occasionally participate in the calls to action. Until I saw this bill. I wanted to make sure the community was aware of it. It seems the intent is to make it a crime to film a p...
