Initially had a lot of troubles, failures to extract properly, with various kinds of ammo. It went back to Kahr, got some new springs and some polishing here and there.
Worked much better when it came back, but still fussy on ammo -- ejection port closes before ejected shell is clear when shooting higher velocity ammo (I chronographed a lot of ammo through it and could see where the troubles started). With the "right" ammo it does very well.
I used to read of problems like this with the polymer frames; people with K-models (all steel) didn't seem to have them. If I were to get another Kahr, I would get a K version (or their M-1 Carbine

I really want to like this pistol, I just wish it was not so finicky on ammo -- I think a combat pistol should be able to digest about anything. But I haven't sold it or traded it off, I like it too much.
