Does anyone know a range in DFW area where I can shoot my shotgun? Frisco Gun Club just prohibited shotguns due to equipment damage.

Re: LEOSA and TCOLE
With an LTC you are exempt from the federal GFSZA per 18 U.S.C. 922(q)(2)(B)(ii). That's why you should get that. As a qualified retired LEO with a LEOSA exemption, you are exempt from all the prohibited places described in 46.02 and 46.03 per TPC 46.15(a)(5) [as long as you have the ID card issued ...

Re: Private Employer 30.07 Parking Lot
You cannot be fired for locking your legally carried firearm in your car in the employer's parking lot. The employer can prohibit you from bringing your gun onto the premises of their property (e.g., building). Good article here: http://txconcealedcarry.com/your-employ ... hl-rights/

Re: Almost had a situation tonight.
I would have called 911 and headed to the nearest police station. Why put yourself in a situation like that? Stay in your car, keep moving, stay on the line with 911 while giving them your location and direction of travel and wait for the cavalary to stop the guy.

Re: Texas State Fair
Their website says otherwise: Weapons and sharp metal objects, such as pocket knives, scissors and the like, are not allowed. The State of Texas does allow a person holding a valid concealed handgun license to enter into Fair Park with a concealed handgun. However, during the State Fair of Texas and...

Re: Addison Oktoberfest - Improper posting
The desired result here is that the Town of Addison adopt a process like the State Fair and signage so indicates the same. They can no firearms allowed per 30.05 if they want, but they should have language saying "doesn't apply to CHL holders" and then train their staff to deal with CHL ho...
