Does this affect foreign trade zones?
Many cowardly employers with a port access quickly declared FTZ status to keep LTC folks from even leaving it in their car thus depriving them of protection for the drive to work.

Re: Poll
They should have passed the bill as is, and then debated "upgrades" to it in subsequent legislatures....... EXACTLY. This would have been a perfect solution. And would have worked fine.... regarding any amendment. Campus carry, cities over size X opting out, etc. The republican majority i...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
Does HB910 as approved last night allow cities with a population greater than 750K to enact ordinances preventing OC? Rumors are flying everywhere. No. This confusion comes from the voting on the house floor before the house passed it on to the senate. An amendment (# 8 I think) was proposed to all...

Either the House can fail to vote to concur, or not even have a concurrence vote at all.

Re: Poll
It won't go to conference unless Abbott asked them to change something. He's going to sign an open carry bill. If it does, we stand a real chance of time running out or a filibuster. I hope it all works out. This is my fear. I'm worried they made this minor change specifically so it would have to g...

Well okay you type-A personalities win, this topic brought you out of the wood work. This will probably come as a shock to you, but this forum is not operated by the government. Thus your 1st Amendment rights are irrelevant here.
I'm done with this thread.

I was I including myself with that lot. I can't seem to find much information about what is happening, and usually on such topics somebody somewhere knows a lot of information to share or has a deep knowledge about the subject matter.

I'm not affiliated with OCT, I'm just exercising my first amendment rights, and you have a right to disbelieve all the evidence pouring in about Benghazi if YOU choose.
This isnt the Natuinal Inquirer. Take this stuff to OCT's Facebook page where it will sell.

Re: Call-To-Action: HB910
I'm a little surprised that nobody here seems to know what is going on.
Does the House have to vote again, or is it just a "motion to concur"... and what is the difference? What does a house do in a "motion to concur"?

Re: Campus Carry -- Where Are We Now?
Corruption isn't nearly as prevalent as are baseless conspiracy theories about corruption. That's conjecture. In this scenario, there is absolutely nothing to be gained by offering to pay off a legislator. Furthering his agenda. What would Bloomberg gain by bribing someone Furthering his agenda. (a...

Re: Campus Carry -- Where Are We Now?
Nobody is being paid off. Campus carry has enough opponents who will gladly and freely throw up procedural challenges, without the need for anyone to risk an ethics violation. Don't be so naive. Corruption is alive and well in government. It happens. It's hard to prove if somebody brings up formal ...

Re: Campus Carry -- Where Are We Now?
The anti gun crowd can't stop anything at this point. They're greatly outnumbered in emails, faxes and calls from those who believe in the constitution and don't drink the sheep kool aid. What I fear now is clerical error sabotage and certain representatives paid off by bloomberg to stall for time w...
