But we've done very little testing so far. Let's wait and see what the numbers look like once more tests have been completed here. It's the lack of testing followed by increased testing that has resulted in such sudden jumps in numbers in other countries.

This is a lengthy video from a couple of guys who have lived in China. It discusses the factors (govt, hygiene, cultural beliefs, etc) there that can lead to worsening an outbreak such as the current one. Also mentions some recent information from doctors in the affected areas. I haven't finished watching it, but so far it is interesting.
