To start the online application you need an "audit" number that I cannot find on the paper temporary DL. Guess I have to wait until the real one comes in before starting the process, scheduling class, etc. I was trying to minimize the time as much as possible, since my other state license ...

The laws there are pretty similar, including the requirements for license.
Two big differences. There is open carry, and they register handguns.
Actually surprised me a bit, but MI is a huge hunting and fishing state.
