Thanks for the info from the posters above, it appears that it does not have anything to do with insurance. That's GOOD!
Now, I have never been to "Taste of Texas" and thanks to this post I never will go there!

Is the insurance industry somehow trying to restrict the rights of CHL holders in this State (and other's)?
We need other Forum Members that own their own business to chime in here and let us know what (if anything) their insurance providers tell them regarding lawful carry of handguns in their place of business and how it may (or may not) affect their rates.
