I believe they were the first 'Hollow Point" ammo available in the Day.......
Before copper jacked was mainstream.

They were Lead and had a recess or dimple in the flat nose. Peeps would alter them a bit further by cutting 4 slots in the edge of the nose for for "more" fragmentation.

I have not seen any for many years.
