Can you please try to clear up the confusion. An instructor should not apply for you. That would be highly illegal. You have to pay for the application as well. Did he pay for your application. It's obvious something was done, as you cannot get fingerprinted until you have applied, but I am highly concerned that you are saying that someone else completed your application for you.

As a FYI, my husband and I did every step together and his status just changed today. I'm hoping mine comes in the mail soon.
