See my previous post that had a link to a video showing the firing of an M109A6 Paladin belonging to the 1st Cavalry Division which is stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.

The M109A6 is being replaced by the M109A7. Image

The 1st Cavalry Division's Division Artillery currently comprises 4 battalions:
1 battalion of M777, 155mm towed howitzer Image

3 battalions of M109A6 transitioning to A7.

If you want to post a picture of a cannon representing the "official state gun of Texas", please don't use a WWII era Soviet anti-tank gun.

There are plenty of Texas cannons, crewed by Texas gunners, on the web. How about Alpha Battery, 3rd Battalion, 82 Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division stationed at Fort Hood, Texas? This is a video of a REAL cannon, the M109A6 Paladin.
