Here is a look at my newest child. This Ruger SP101 is fun to shoot, easy to carry. A welcome addition to my stack of CCW tools.
Eats .38 special like candy. .38 +p and +P+ are a little less forgiving, but .357 mag? My oh my. Now THOSE are fun to shoot!

It followed me home!!
I went to the Dallas show last Saturday and this grabbed me around the ankle and would not let go. As you can see, there is a "glint" in her eye thanks to Crimson Trace.
I also got this Hi-Standard Model "A" from my MiL. Serial number says manufacture was October to December 1940.
I took both to Garland on Sunday and that sweet little .22 caliber pea shooter almost shot rings around the new .45.
