It doesn't matter whose name is on the 4473 for the purposes of a CHL class. The only reason for her to do the paperwork is for her to say that she bought the gun herself, which is not a prerequisite.

My wife did that with her two guns. She insisted on doing the 4473, because that meant they were "hers" and I couldn't swipe them from her. :lol:
Yes she picked the gun she wanted the first time a 9mm 709 and said it had to much recoil so , she wanted a smaller caliber 32 .

There's no registration in the State of Texas, so really there's no "the handgun is her name" or "the handgun is in my name" as far as the gubm'nt goes. Is that what you're worried about?
I want the gun in her name because she has a CHL appointment at the Bass Shop coming up .

My question is I purchased my wife a handgun from Buds Handgun Shop with my credit card , and it will be shipped to Houston Armory -FFL . How can I change the gun from my name too her name ?
