I'm glad I learned how to make leather holsters. Now I can get a new gun and not have to wait weeks for a holster. I made my husband's holster just days after he got his glock 19.

I think mine took four days. And I would imagine since they listed the proof of citizenship complete they've got it. So you could wait a few days to see if the complete your background check gets completed or go ahead and call to be sure they got it. Just be ready for a lengthy hold time. Maybe dvr a movie to watch or something while you wait.

It's a good thing we both got ours on the same day too cause if you had gotten yours first I'd have been really mad!

Uploaded 3/17, first update 4/29.
"Wally walk" was heb only because for mothers day I got myself disposable dishes. I am NOT washing dishes tomorrow!

Updated to mailed today! Seems as though most people's plastics take about a week to arrive. So hopefully early next week I'll have it.

Here's my timeline:
3/15: chl class
3/17: fingerprints and uploaded docs
3/19 received email stating docs received
4/29: first update- background check review
5/6: manufacturing pending

I'm still in background review. Since Tuesday. Ugh. They don't ever update in the middle of the day right? Just once a day?

Sounds like you're on your way. By the time I got my first update my finger prints were already approved, but I've been in background review since Tuesday. Some peoples takes a day, others can take a week or even longer. Once it says mailed, it typically takes a week to get.

I think the chl-100 is good for 2 years. But the timeline for them starts when they get your whole packet, so if you sent it 3/17, it should update anytime now. I uploaded mine 3/17 and got my first update today.

After following the forum I think you mail or upload it, they get it, put it in a pile and get to it when they get to it. Then they work on it for a few days or longer depending on the background check, and it all updates. Of course by the time it updates you pretty much get the chl within a week or two. It's kinda nice when you get the update though cause you know it will be soon!

I would imagine it would be pointless to call until day 60.
