Seems to me like DPS is moving right along nicely. Average wait time lately is about 45 days.

1/12/2014 - paperwork mailed

2/25/2014 - status reads as manufacturing pending
It seems to me I was only in the "background check" stage for a day or less. I checked yesterday and still had the old message saying awaiting retrieval of materials. I also never submitted my paperwork online (submission errors).
Now I wait...
And with that I am now out of the waiting room.

That's weird. Mine was on BG check for less than a day; a few hours total. Maybe because I have no priors and I'm 21 with only one moving violation so the process was faster. idk.jroddy187 wrote:Hey mine is still sitting on BG check. Been on "Mailed" for two days. The suspenseful wait is killing me.
