completely off topic, but I caught a bit of the today show a couple of weeks or so ago during the thrust of the polar vortex thing. Apparently Al Roker had been catching some email heat over the sensationalism, and had been chastised for the weather people making things up. He took his 1950's meteorological textbook in and showed the term polar vortex. He was pretty miffed. Lol

It is for their law enforcement agents. They buy hollow points for the same reason you carry them. They work best. It is neither odd nor nefarious for them to purchase these.
