that is what i was getting at as far as its validity. To my knowledge these are only posted on the perimeter of the parking lot and not the actual building its self. I've been here 3 yrs and basically operated under the premise that CHL holder are not allowed to carry inside this campus because in the event of an active shooter we dont want guess and employees to be mistaken for the shooter when out team comes to respond.
So by campus, is it a school campus? If so, and it is a public school, then there is a different rub. A 30.06 sign is not valid on a public school parking lot as the public school is a government entity. They CAN as a school however, prohibit an employee from having a gun in the car and can fire you if you do. While not illegal, it is a fireable offense and there is no protection by the parking lot law.

Is this sign even valid, Its been posted outside my job for a while and I'd never really payed attention it because I was part of the armed security team. its posted at both entrances to the parking lot Image
