To be completely honest about my belt, I have had my hands on mnay 'gun belts' and the one I have actually is more ridgid than the leather and wilderness type gun belts that I have tried. This is not just some cheap Wal-mart belt. Untill recently, it was actually too stiff for comfortable use as a gun belt because it wouldnt give very much thru/around the holster. Now that it is broken in well, it works great.
I see what you are saying about possibly pulling the trigger on the draw but.....there is not one holster in the world that protects the trigger untill you are ready to fire. Every trigger gets exposed very early on during the draw. Mine just gets exposed 1000th of a second faster than yours.

Yes....maybe a twig could possibly wedge itself thru my cover garment and find its way into the trigger BUT....it is a 1911 and has a thumb and grip safety so I dont worry about it. I just dont see anything flippin mt thumb safety, sqeezin the grip safety, AND pulling thrigger at the same time. I am not trying to be a horses butt. I just personally dont see it happening.

oh yeah.....and my belt.....It is just a leather belt.....a really thick, stiff leather belt that I got at a Bike shop in Euless TX for about $40. It is a single piece of leather that is the thickness (or thicker) than most double leather belts. It has taken almost a year to get it broken in where it is really comfortable....but it works GREAT as a gun belt.

YES it was taken in the mirror...........The trigger is not as exposed as it appears in the pic (due to angle of pic).
Due to my size, it is not comfortable to move it to say.....3:00 position..... That is actually about the 4....but once again....its the mirror/angle/so on and so on.
I am still in the process of trying different holsters. This is my first IWB.
I ride a Harley and when I ride, it works GREAT. I will trying out more as funds allow.
I do want to thank everyone for your in-put....
...but I do think it has gone off topic from the OP. Sorry

I am about the same size as you and this holster works GREAT for me. I hide my 5" Kimber with the use of a loose button up shirt with an undershirt tucked in. I can even use a regular loose (but not too baggy) T-shirt with little noticable buldge
