I'm out of the waiting room! Plastic arrived earlier this week.

4 weeks today. From the recent flurry of quick approvals lately, I figure I'll either be approved by this Friday, or it will take the full 60 days.

3 weeks, 21 days today. One more week until I reach 28 days, the earliest anyone has been approved. It will probably be another 5 weeks for me though. At least it's calendar days, not business days.

NcongruNt, you are at 55 days today! Maybe you'll get it this Friday because 60 days is Sunday.

Yep, I'm figuring it's going to be 60 days for me also. BTW, are you at 53 business days or calendar days?

April 21: Pin Recevied, Processing Application.

I'm getting closer. The big question now is how fast does Travis county turn around those background checks.

My bank shows the check was deposited by DPS yesterday, April 18. No PIN yet.

That is funny. At this point, I'd be thrilled just to get my PIN. I can't even start wasting my time checking the DPS webpage yet.

I'll probably set the site to my homepage. :) I also assume it's going to take at least 60 days, so anything sooner is just a bonus.

Also, the additional 60 days will give me some extra time to get in better shape so that I don't have to buy a new wardrobe to carry IWB.

I would have hand delivered it, since I was in Austin, but I wasn't sure of the address. Oh well, it couldn't possibly take more than a day to make it across Austin.

So, I have lived in Travis and Bexar county, mostly Travis. I hear they take a while. What do you think?
