Unfortunately it is not a monthly affair , most Saturdays are full, we only have the Range available on the 5th Saturday of a month, there are only a few months that have a 5th Saturday each year.diverge wrote:Is PSC 3 gun a monthly event? Looking on the calendar and only see the December match listed. Don't see anything for next year.

Re: PSC 3 gun
well, we have been watching the weather for the last few days, and with the for cast for widespread heavy rain going from 70% to 80% to now 90% chance of rain, we have been forced to call the match off and cancel it for this month.

cajunautoxer wrote:Could someone post what the email sent to members stated? Can we get a sneak peak on stages? Minimum recommended amout of ammo?
There is no plan to post the stages, the round count is about 100 rifle, 100 shotgun (all bird shot) and 6 pistol.
5 stages, 5 squads, 50 shooters max, the match is currently full.

gwashorn wrote:Charles, can you send me the e-mail that went out? I did not get it, not sure why but I don't know what is all required or allowed for this. I assume the shotgun 7 1/2 is lead. Any limit on number of mags you can carry for AR or pistol? I will load the truck up but wondering what I might need for belt and vest carriers etc. thanks!Charles L. Cotton wrote:The email has most of the rules we will follow, but some were left out. For example, .223 only, 7 1/2 shot for shotguns, rifles loaded to max, shotguns loaded with 7 rds unless otherwise states in the scenario, pistols loaded to the IDPA Division capacity, even though we aren't using IDPA Divisions. "Optic" means anything other than iron sights, including magnification, red dots, etc.
Chas.
LEAD is a must!! NO steel shot or perpetrator rifle ammo. a sling is not required, limit of 2 mags on belt and one in gun, just like IDPA, capacity is the same as IDPA, in this particular match there are only 6 pistol rounds required.
HINT, HINT load your rifle mags with 1 less round than max, it will help you when loading.

Re: PSC 3 gun
With iron signs and loading no more than 7 rounds either shotgun will work!!!!cajunautoxer wrote:So can I run a converted Saiga 12? I only have that or a Brownimg OU for a shot gun

Re: PSC 3 gun
The short answer is no, there is not an open division only iron sights and optics. shotguns are loaded to a maximum of 7.cajunautoxer wrote:Glad you posted this. I may have to see if I can get away for a little while and go shoot! Hey Charles if I run open I can run my shotgun mags fully loaded with 10 right?
Please remember the maximum number of shooters is 50 and preregistration is required.
