Ha! I keep my DL and CHL in a small ID wallet. When I flip it open, there they both are. As for the Avis clerk in Chicago, I don't care what he thinks. If he doesn't like it, he can "kiss my grits" as the old saying goes.

I look at situations like that as consciousness raising opportunities. Maybe he will realize how he is a second class citizen.

BTW, did you know that in Chicago, there is an exemption to the blanket handgun ban? It is for city ALDERMEN. They can own and carry handguns with no permit required.
