). I just stick them in my magazine holders and place them in the same locked container my gun is in. I've found that most of the airline employees are clueless as to the rules but the TSA people are pretty well up to speed. I've even had airline employees tell me that since I'm a LEO that I didn't need to unload the weapon before I packed it, or that I didn't even need to check it - that I could just carry it on.
