Re: October Applications
Thank you, I will remember this sense of relief after it arrived.johnson0317 wrote:Quite the feeling, eh? I have had mine for about 2.5 years and I still remember waiting outside for the mailman to come. I promised myself I would savor the moment and open the envelope slowly, but I ripped open as quickly as possible.DCCS(SW/AW) Ret. wrote:Just checked the mail and the license has arrived. Day 58!
Glad you finally got it!

I agree, one thing is sure from this, I will never forget my DL number, LOL.Cshuff21 wrote:DCCS(SW/AW) Ret. wrote:Cshuff21 wrote:Is that what it shows when you get an update? I turned mine in Oct 21 and got an email about 2 weeks ago saying they just now received my info
Yes Sir, that is what it shows, I got my first update at day 36 (submitted everything on 10/9), I have called them a few times as it didn't move at all between 36, and 54… then it moved all the way to mailed in less than 24 hours.
Well, I guess that is where I stand now....ugh tired of typing in my DL # SS#.

Thank you!jmra wrote:Patience my friend. Many of those who have gone before you have waited much longer. Many in 07/08 waited 4-6 months. This too shall pass. Still waiting for any change in status from "Waiting for receipt of required materials"
Today I made a point to call Austin again, the lady was very nice and said that my application is pending print, don't know what that means as the website has not updated sense my 36th day…. Going on 55 today, she said that it could take up to another month to process from this point which would put me way past the 60 days which is in 5 days…
Best of luck to all, seems like they are getting further and further behind. Someone posted earlier that they should employee more people, this would be true as they have more money come in from all the applications to support the additions to head count.

I called them today, very nice person on the call. Said everything looks fine but it maybe another few weeks to a month as they have been slamed with instructor renewals and other current renewals as well. He made it sound like new applicants are being pushed to the back…
