There are some commercial butt stocks out on the market that will not fit milspec butt stocks. Somethin...

HB 3496

Been a long time lurker around here, just found something that really caught my interest. What are your thoughts on this bill that was introduced into the house? I know that one was introduced last session that allowed for concealed carry by first responders in rural counties. I'm not sure if it pas...

Ponder PD

My first time being pulled over since getting my CHL. I rolled through a blinking red light (the closest thing to a stop light that is in the town) to turn right. There was a police officer in the church parking lot at the intersection and I immediatley knew I was hosed. Pulled right over for him. H...

Re: Opinions on Ruger SR 1911 .45 ACP

I know you said "the ammo is correct", but just to check, the pointy end of the bullet is pointing forward, right? :rolll Sorry - just had to ask. Sounds like some mechanical obstruction to the gun - if it were mine, it'd be on the way to Ruger without much thought about it. Have you tried...

First Carry

I did my first carry tonight. Went out to dinner with my wife, one of her friends and the kids for my youngest's birthday. I carried with my Ruger SR 1911 CMD in a OWB Serpa. I wore a longer polo since I was wearing a OWB. Everyone did look at me, at least I noticed they were. I only checked it once...

WTB 1911 4.25in IWB Leather Holster-New or Used

Hey guys, my CHL came in yesterday :anamatedbanana and I'm looking for a New or Used leather holster for a Ruger SR1911 CMD. I have already ordered a Crossbreed type holster (4-6 week lead time) but I'd like to try out a leather one as well. If you have an extra 4.25" 1911 holster in your drawe...
