I was told that it could take up to 30 days for a pin and atleast 60 days for the permit. In my case i recieved my pin 14 days after app was mailed off but it took a bit longer to get my permit than 60 days. 20 more in fact. I can tell you that if you have ever been arrested it will slow it down almost every time.

Mine took almost 75 days just to be issued. There are only a few people working on THOUSANDS of permits. I have no idea how everyone there can remain so patient and nice to us. I bet they get 500 calls/emails a day saying "where is my permit". Just be patient and practice, really that is all that you can do.
