It doesn't matter whose name is on the 4473 for the purposes of a CHL class. The only reason for her to do the paperwork is for her to say that she bought the gun herself, which is not a prerequisite.

My wife did that with her two guns. She insisted on doing the 4473, because that meant they were "hers" and I couldn't swipe them from her. :lol:

Strange, this does not seem to work in reverse. I've lost two .22s and a Beretta 9mm that way...

The card is in my name ,but the gun is for her .

As Keith B said, as long as she can legally own and you're not making a straw man purchase, you're good to go.

Is the card in her name or both your names. If both not seeing the issue.
If not. why don't you just have her pick it up?
