None whatsoever. I have one speeding ticket and nothing else. I've even had 2 federal background checks in the last 6 years due to my job too. Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending
Either way.......after sitting in BG: under review since June 22nd, I just saw I am in the same boat as you....BG: complete, CHL manufacturing pending!!!!!!

I can't really imagine it would take a week to review my background check. Although I suppose that 'In Review' might just be a placeholder for 'we're gonna get to it when we get to it'

I have one speeding ticket on my record, but nothing else. Ive passed 2 federal background checks in the last 6 years. There is absolutely no reason it would be held up.

I am seeing tons of people send out there paperwork way after me and receive their CHL in less than a month.
Is anyone else still having to wait like me?

Ha ha, I agree with you. Mine arrived to DPS on June 6 and people a week after that have already got theirs in the mail?!?!Texas1999 wrote:LOL now this thread is annoying me. I completed my application online, and mailed off the additional papers via certified mail on June 4. The return receipt shows that they received it in Austin on the 6th. Mine says "Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials" also.
