Re: LTC from another state
OK, but there are some states that issue a non-resident LTC that is good in TX. and even more that reciprocate with TX which with either you can conceal carry and have not taken a test on TX laws.

LTC from another state
In TX if you have a DL from another state you just go pay the money and get a Tx DL, no test at all. Why isn't it that way for LTC?

Re: Getting my CHL back after DWI Suspension
I don't want anyone you has had the lack of judgement to have committed a felony or receive a DUI to process a firearm. How am I assured they won't have another moment when the can't behave responsibly? You won't know when he might have that moment. If he does and decides to do something stupid wit...

Re: Self review after pulling weapon - long post
OK. This brings up something I have never agreed with. I hear to never pull your weapon unless you're going to use it. In this case all worked great. Now explain to me why he should have shot this person? I have read responses and still not clear. BTW I think priusron did a great job with this enco...

Re: Dallas has a new police chief. Anyone know about her 2a stance?
It's ashamed that DPD has no one in the department that could do the job of chief. That tells me that either DPD had a bunch of 2nd rate officers or else politics over ruled selecting one of the good officers of DPD for the job.

Re: Convince me that constitutional carry is a good thing
Constitutional carry would not do away with our LTC program. We can still feel "special" while still respecting the rights of others. The 2nd Amendment says "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." (Emphasis mine) This clearly states that the bearing of arms is ...

Re: Tough one - loose dog - their property
Not that I doubt you ---BUT---If that dog it intimidating you, what about the postman that deposits the mail? Post office take it serious about dogs and the postal carriers. If postal carrier hasn't said anything about it I tend to think you might be overacting.

Re: Voting with LTC as ID?
I don't understand what the big deal is if the clerk wants another type of ID. Actually if you don't have a ID and you can still vote if you sign something. I don't remember the details now and don't have time to look them up. So if they won't take your LTC just tell them you want to vote under the ...

OT ?? shooting at someone running away
With all the police shootings lately and the controversy where they were right or not, I have a question. It is my understanding that the officer that shot the guy that placed the bombs in NY and NJ was running away when shot. I haven't heard one word questioning why the officer did that. Is it beca...

Re: ATT (Cowboy) stadium
Is it city owned???? It originally was, that is the only way it could have been built using eminent domain. Cowboys or ATT couldn't have done it. I only hear it called ATT or Cowboy stadium, never Arlington stadium.

Re: Apply for TxCHL while deployed
I think it is pitiful this man can't get done what what he is asking while out of state serving and protecting our country. Legislation needs to be changed. Tx should be ashamed to ask a man to get a non resident license.

Re: Waco/Bellmead purse snatcher
She is getting more negative comments than the purse snatcher. By law, right, wrong, or indifferent I wish there was more like her and less like him. If I could identify her, NO WAY would I snitch on her.
