How do you figure? I was under the same impression earlier in the year, but at this point Strayhorn is polling under 10% where Kinky and Bell are polling tied at about 22% and Perry is in the lead with about 35%.

I think the toll plan in central Texas (the one I am most familiar with) is moronic and needs to be declared stupid and unconstitutional - along with that trans-Texas. But at this point it really looks like a vote for Strayhorn is a vote for Perry because SHE is the one who has no chance. Kinky has a much better shot at the moment.

And that is why I think he actually does have a chance at it. At this point it will be either Rick Perry (probably the least intelligent politician I have ever met) or Kinky. And the wildcard is can Kinky get people to vote who would normally stay home - with standing by his un PC remarks, I think he might just be able to. Still a long shot, but he is the only one that I think has a chance over Perry.
