Latest developments:
After the e-mail difficulties I related in my last post, I decided to mail a copy of my complaint form to the regional TABC office in Arlington. That was six weeks ago. The restaurant still has its 51% up.
How long does it take for TABC to process a complaint? Do I just need to be patient?

Re: 51% Sign at Irving Twin Peaks
OK, so a few days ago I downloaded the complaint form, filled it out, and emailed to TABC. The next morning, I got an automated message from the email server at TABC saying delivery of my message has been 'delayed'. Have not received any followup message saying my email has finally been delivered. No idea if my complaint has yet even been seen or acted upon.
Has anyone had any experience with email correspondence with TABC? Is this standard operating procedure? Do I just need to be patient?

Re: 51% Sign at Irving Twin Peaks
Apologies for the belated follow-up.
What's the url for that website so that in the future I can check an establishment's status myself?
Can I file a complaint online or do I need to call some hotline?

51% Sign at Irving Twin Peaks
I had lunch today at the Twin Peaks in Irving, which has been open about a month (fyi, I wasn't carrying). On my way out I noticed they had a 51% sign near the door. I thought that was odd, because I've eaten at other twin peaks locations, and they have the "unlicensed possession of a handgun prohibited" sign instead. I don't get how one location of a franchise restaurant could be considered a 51% establishment when no other location is.
