UPDATE: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contr

The person who was leasing it to us called me back today. It seems the person who put the gate up recently bought some of the property from several out of state owners. He then went and had a restraining order put on the other owners and had the gate put up and locked them out too. The judge issued ...

Re: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contract.

I was contacted tonight by another person that was on it and he has a feeder, a tripod stand and 2 hog traps still out there. The feeling is we haven't been officially notified of any changes. So if we all go out there with our contracts in hand then we are acting in good faith within the contract. ...

Re: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contract.

The gunshop owner that is on it and myself agree that we still have the right to be on it. He had mentioned that he was apt to cut the lock too. From what I heard today at the gunshop I expect the lock to be cut in the near future. The only person I know that has equipment still on it won't answer m...

Re: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contract.

I didn't word the sentence right. One of the people that was leasing the land from the land owner was in contact with his own lawyer. Sorry I phrased it wrong but it wasn't the landowners lawyer.

Re: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contract.

I found out what happened. I went to the local gunshop today to talk to one of the owners cause I remembered he was on the same lease. It turns out the land is owned by several people. The guy that was leasing is out is a minority owner of the land. He was leasing it out without the knowledge of the...

Re: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contract.

I only know one other hunter and I cannot get ahold of him yet. I know his feeder is still there cause I saw it with binoculars.

Re: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in contract.

I have an address on the lease and I went back and found an e-mail address from when I made the payment through Paypal. I sent an e-mail to him earlier so hopefully I will get something back. If not I will send a letter in the mail. My wife went to the appraisal district office this morning and foun...

UPDATE: Legal Question. Hunting lease locked, Still in

I went out to the hunting lease I am on last night and they put a gate up and locked it. I haven't been out there in couple of months so I had no idea. The website we used to renew on and get updates is no longer working. The contract I have says I am payed up through Oct. of this year. It has no me...

Re: So, which republicans held our bills back?

I know Robert Duncan was one. He held up the Campus Carry bill in committee. I got an email from him stating so. He was also quoted in the Lubbock paper saying he didn't believe that guns on campus would make it safer and therefore wouldn't vote for it. Joe Heflin who is a democrat in the house said...

Re: Revision to Stimulus Plan

He was talking about it yesterday. It makes sense to me too. They won't do it though. It would take too much away fom the ones that don't pay taxes but reap the rewards. I'm kind of mad at Rush though. He made a comment about the middle class being a big part of the problem with the economy. I wish ...

Re: Revision to Stimulus Plan

This sounds great in theory, and to an extent I think it is good and would definently stimulate the economy more than the stimulus bill probably will, however, not every citizen in US pays taxes, let alone some of those citizens are leaches and do not deserve a rebate in taxes they haven't paid int...

Re: Time to stand up

Look here. I didn't say it was a bad idea. I was just trying to make a point about how stupid this new administration is and how they turn things around to suit them. I write my conressman at least once a month. And my state senator and congessman when needed. So far the only one I'm mad at is my st...
