What was the postmark on the letter? Mine updated to mailed on 5/15 but it was postmarked 5/17.

Nope, I wouldn't expect any problem. First, I've only needed to even show my CHL once in the last 10 years, so having someone look at it is a low probability event to start with. Second, even if an LEO is looking at it, the photos should make it quite obvious you are the same person on both license...

They mailed mine on 5/17 or at least the status changed to mailed on that day. And still no plastic in the mail, mailman came and gone for today. So Im just about fed up with this "Hurry up and wait bull!" Im not too close to Austin so maybe it will be here tomorrow. Who knows. :grumble M...

Thats something i would like to know as well. my status just changed to application received today. And i called the DPS and they said the Background check is done, im thinking how is that possible since it just changed to received.
