Just checked the mail for the third time today and it was here along with the Bravo Concealment Holster my father ordered.
Of course the mail would come almost 3 hours later than normal on the day it arrived.

I'm guessing you don't have any update yet either. I'm still really hoping it gets here tomorrow, but I'm starting to doubt it will. I'm thinking most likely it will be Monday. Just checked it again as soon as I got up today (noon) and it FINALLY changed to "Background Check: Completed" and "Concealed Handgun License: Manufacturing Pending" So hopefully it will be mailed today or tomorrow and I'll receive it Friday-Tuesday just 2-3 postal days like kcatx did. I can't wait!

I swore some of the first posts I read in this July thread said they had been only taking a few days. Good to know I'm not the only one who's still waiting. Still no change as of today. I was hoping maybe they had already mailed it and just not updated the status and I would find it in the mail. It's been in "background check under review" since last Friday, the 2nd, and still no change. I was really hoping that it would be done as quickly as some of the applications at the beginning of this month (1-2 days) and that it would be mailed and possibly in hand this week. I guess now the earliest I can hope for is mailed tomorrow and in hand Saturday or Monday. I guess it's better than my father's application which took close to 60 days when he submitted it back in March. Now I just need to get a new belt, some more carry ammo, and a mag pouch to be completely set for when it finally does get here. Buying more shirts tomorrow that conceal better for work since most of the ones I have are too small even if I wasn't going to be carrying.

So I just quickly checked my status before going to work, not expecting any change this soon. Well, it FINALLY updated past the initial "application has been processed online/waiting for required materials" to the more detailed update screen and everything is received and the background check is under review. I started the application online on the 21st, mailed the 22nd, and fingerprints the 23rd. Hopefully I'll get lucky like a few others and the background check will only take a day and tomorrow it will say "manufacturing pending".

I'm an inpatient person. So I'll probably check every day anyways. Wait about 2 weeks before you see an update but things do seem to be moving fast this month :)

So I just turned 21 on Saturday (the 20th) and for some reason it would not let me start the application process online till the 21st. Yesterday, I mailed the application express (one day guaranteed) and today I got my fingerprints done. The USPS tracking said it has been delivered and signed for. No update on the DPS website though. I hope it goes as fast as all the rest have this month. My dad did his a couple months back and it took him almost 50 days to get his in hand.
