This sounds about perfect, I'll check it out.

Thanks!

Sunday afternoon in general is good for me and I'm in Sugar Land.

I think PSC is one of the websites I was looking at today....would I need to become a member first or is there a "check it out first" deal?

We shot 75 rounds at Bailey’s 2 weeks ago and another 75 at American Shooting last week and I’m feeling pretty good about the new gun as far as the CHL is concerned.

I’m also comfortable with handling malfunctions (on the range) and such it’s just that I was looking at the tactical shooting they have at Top gun on Tuesday nights and even the intro prerequisite seems more “intense than I’m ready for right now. So it’s not that I’m a total novice or anything but as far as what I think of when I see the word tactical…. I’m not there either. :???:

Same with the intensive courses I see online, they look too advanced for me and the basic intro classes look too remedial. So I was thinking instructional DVD’s, snap caps, range time, etc… as at least a start in the right direction.

DVD's

Are tactical pistol training DVD's any good?

And if so are there any recommendations?

As I'm about to do my CHL renewal I realize I did not do any pistol training in the 4 years it took for my license to expire.

I intended to but just never did it. While I'm searching out what training is out there, where it is, and think about scheduling something I'm wondering if training DVD's would be a better than nothing stop gap measure and give me something to practice.

Any thoughts?
