Re: 7.62 AR Build

I just completed my 7.62 build as well; mostly Palmetto State Armory stuff. PSA10 Lower, Magpul CTR Stock, BCM Grip, CMC 3.5lb trigger. I bought the completed PSA Armory upper with 18" SS PSA barrel, NB BCG, and a Midwest Industries free float hand guard. I have not been out to the range yet to shoot it, but everything seemed to come together well.

Re: 7.62 AR Build

I also just bought the PA-10 lower for a .308 AR project. I will be buying the remaining parts over the next few months to complete the build. Since I had a few AR15 lower parts kits sitting around, I ordered what I understand to be the different parts you need to complete the PA-10 lower build - the pivot pin, the take down pin, and the bolt catch. I also ordered the buffer, buffer tube, buffer spring and stock from Palmetto. I will be assembling it this weekend.

In retrospect, I should have just ordered the lower parts kit; it was not really that much more expensive than buying the parts separately.

What parts did you use to finish out your upper? What BCG did you buy? I was thinking of buying a PSA kit once they come back into stock, but it might be more fun to customize mine a bit. However, I am afraid of compatability issues.

Looking forward to a range report!
