paustin you must have a family member wroking for the DPS in Austin. You would have to agree that a simple acknowledgement of the reciept of documents submitted by USPS mail or via Email should not be that difficult. The FBI has nothing to do with the acknowledgement of the reciept of documents on an update to the status on the wesite.
