I have looked it up and they show to have one of each for the same address listed twice, once a blue and once a red. Both permits were current. Again, just my opinion, but I take it as long as you don't go in the "bar area" you are good to go. I have only been there one time and will not go back only because it was a dive and wasn't impressed at all. YMMV.
I'm not sure about posting both signs, but the signs are required to be displayed AT EACH ENTRANCE, not inside the building at the bar area. I would contact TABC and let them know that the business is not posting the 51% sign at the entrance.
One would be posted at the enterance to the Restuarant and the other at the enterance to the bar if it is a separate license.
In order for that to work, the bar would have to have a separate address. In Texas, when you have a TABC license, it's for your whole address, not for part of the building. If your address has a RED license, the entire premise is RED.
Please don't kill the messenger, but you can look it up yourself. It's the same address and phone number except one has suite A after it. I have been there and it is just one building. It does show two different owners and two different "trade names", but again, it's all in just one building. The address is: 1933 NW HWY, Garland, TX. 75041 (you have to put the address as shown, not Northwest Highway, etc.. or it won't show up.) I personally would NOT carry there, but YMMV. :cheers2:
If there are separate entrances, that's fine and would only apply to the specified suite.
One entrance, one building. Has a bar area and eating tables away from the bar and a patio eating area. Picture if you can, an On the Border except a seedy version. "rlol"

Treadlightly, I am no expert by any means, but there is a restaurant in my neck of the woods that at the front door has the "blue sign", but in the "bar area" there is a red 51% sign. I have looked it up and they show to have one of each for the same address listed twice, once a blue and once a red. Both permits were current.
