I can't say for sure to answer your question, but it is posted and so is the GISD tax office, where you go to pay your school taxes in person. The CC Center is by (and maybe considered the same property) as Naaman Forest HS. and the tax office is on the same property as Williams Stadium (HS track and football stadium). I don't go to either one. Mail in my taxes and have yet to have a need to go to the CC Center.C-dub wrote:Is a building owned by a school district still considered off limits? If it is not a "school." And I don't remember if a school district is considered a governmental entity that would make property that is not a school even enforceable.txglock21 wrote:Just wanted to add, this event is supposed to be held at the Curtis Caldwell Center in Garland, which is owned and operated by the GISD and is also one of the few places in Garland that is legally posted at all times. No carry inside the building, but parking lot??? I personally will avoid this area (during that event) even though it is right by my favorite Academy store.
Anyone?

Garland is where I live. Thanks for posting this C-dub.C-dub wrote:I don't recall another post of yours, but mine here was more about a heads up for the possibility of this event coming here to Texas. Garland is also not too far from where I live. I know I will keep an ear out for this event and try and make sure I'm no where near it if it actually does occur.Pilgrim wrote:I tried to mention something against Muslim attacks on this board and was flamed because some people thought I was speaking against religious freedom in our US Constitution.
